Garage flood door & barrier installation
A wide-opening flood system must be measured, supported and installed around the actual water load and everyday use of the garage.
Business disclosure: Flood Ready is a private service company. It is not a government agency or rebate administrator.

For Toronto and GTA projects, we can measure the opening, review the water pathway, specify the appropriate AquaLOCK door or large-opening system, and coordinate supply and installation. Projects outside the GTA require explicit approval from AquaLOCK and Flood Control Canada.

Document clear width, supports, threshold and grade.
Confirm product/barrier fit, expected depth and operation.
Complete anchoring, sealing and drainage details.
Review deployment, inspection and maintenance.

System fit
Flood resistance is a property of the selected system, its rating, the installation and the surrounding structure. We separate product claims from site assumptions and document the intended scope before work proceeds.

A standard garage door should not be assumed to provide flood resistance. Flood Ready assesses purpose-built flood-resistant systems and engineered barrier approaches that fit the opening and expected conditions.
No. Permanent readiness, daily access, structural requirements, storage, deployment time and expected water depth all influence the decision.
Potentially. Surface-water opening protection and pumping address different parts of the risk, and an assessment can determine whether both are relevant.
Send the opening location, approximate width/height and a few photos. We’ll confirm whether an AquaLOCK permanent door, garage system, Quickwall or another flood-control measure is the right starting point.
